Payload

The payload is the load carried by a robot. It is both the weight of such a load (plus the weight of the end of arm tooling) needed to hold the load.

The total mass of an end-effector and it workpiece must be less than the maximum payload capacity of the robot. The total mass includes the wiring, piping, etc.
