Fanuc S-10 Robot

Basic Description

Fanuc S-10 six axis, electric AC servomotor driven articulated robot operates at a high speed with maximum speed, torque and repeatability. The lightweight and slim body allows for minimal floor space requirements. The robot has a direct-drive design. This, along harmonic drives in the robots multi-turn wrist, increases its ability. The S-10’s absolute encoder positioning and RV speed reducers on the three major axes for smooth motions at slow speeds. Absolute position detection system eliminates robot calibration after power-on and enables automatic start-up. Integral fail-safe brakes on all 6 axes increase safety. Grease fittings provided at all critical locations to facilitate lubrication. Robot connection cables feature quick disconnect terminals. Software limits, mechanical overtravels on the major axes and adjustable hard stops can be set to limit S-10's working range for safety. The robot's 22# payload and 60" reach make it ideal for many industrial applications.
