Fanuc S-500 Robot

Basic Description

The general purpose Fanuc S-500 is a 6 axes, electric servo-driven robot designed for a variety of industrial processes. Has a large work envelope, 2739 mm(107.8") reach 15 kg (33lbs.) payload robot that offers precise, high speed, and high axes speed up to 320° degrees per second and a repeatability (±0.25 mm). A slender arm design allows for increased part access in difficult to reach applications. Can be modified for upright, inverted and wall mounting. Absolute serial encoder positioning, brushless AC servo motors minimize motor maintenance. RV speed reducers provide smooth motion at all speeds. Sealed bearings and drives provide protection and improve reliability. Interfaces with most types of servo-driven or indexing positioners.
